A one-of-a-kind item, this box is adorned with Abalone and Venus clam shells. The clam shells, polished and porcelain-like in appearance, are woven into each other, whilst the Abalone shells reflect the light beautifully.

Re-generated by Mel Campion, this nun’s ‘veil’ box has been transformed into a ‘working’ work of art,
and a piece which is easily the star of the space.
Non-mechanised hand techniques are used to achieve very intricately designed shellwork,
designed to suit the contours and character of the original piece.
