Mel and Ella are decorative artists known for creating notable installations for interiors, while also producing individual and limited-edition pieces for the home.
Both come from strong design backgrounds: Mel began her career in publishing with Vanity Fair and Tatler, later collaborating creatively with leading interior designers. Ella trained as a textile designer and went on to complete a Master's degree at the Royal College of Art.
Today, they work as a collaborative duo on large-scale projects for interior designers and architects. Influenced by tradition and historical styles, they use innovative new designs to bring large-scale shell work into interior spaces. Shell work is a craft that has been elevated to an art form, and they continue to harness its qualities to create visually discerning spaces for their clients.
