One morning in Bath I visited a rather glorious textile collector in her mid-70s. Her collection of textile pieces was breathtaking.
As anyone who has visited Bath knows, navigating its historic streets is no easy feat!
But the challenges were worth it as I left with a collection of crewel motifs taken from an 18th Century bedspread that had fallen apart.
The motifs were in very good condition and so beautifully individual with no two the same.
