In 2025, Mel returned to Kin House alongside Ella, who had newly joined the team, to collaborate once again with Barlow & Barlow on their latest project - a new pool house. A curated mix of British shells, including scallop shells, British cockles and abalones, was set into a rusty rose–hued render. Working closely with the Barlow & Barlow team, the design embraced a deliberately sparse approach, allowing materiality and texture to take centre stage.
